Zipporah turns 5
Zori's picnic was so much fun. We had school in the morning and spent the rest of day calmly until dinner time. We headed to the beach a little early so we could enjoy the sunlight. It was a beautiful day and we had front row seats to the sun setting on the ocean. She smiled the whole way to the beach and was so excited that it was her turn to be the honored guest at the picnic dinner. Jason prayer of blessing was beautiful and I was so excited to think that all he was praying for her was to a God who loves to answer our prayers and does amazing and big things in our lives. She was very quiet and in a very calm voice thanked her dad for the wonderful prayer. Abby declared that it was the best one yet! We broke bread and ate until we could no longer see the food in front of us. We headed home for presents and cake. I set the house up before we left and put the chickens right in front of her cake in a very cute chicken line. She walked in and said "what is that?" She was looking at the chickens when she said it and I told her they where her birthday chickens. She ran over and grabbed them and hugged them and thanked me for them. We then headed to the living room where the presents awaited her. Grandma generously bestowed many good things to her granddaughter and Zori loved them all!! Thanks Debi, we only wish that you could have been here with us. After all was opened and assembled, she set up her new tea set and baking set and invited us all over for a pretend tea party. She had a grand time and put as many of her presents that she comfortably could on her bed and went to sleep happy and tired from a full night of celebrating yet another year that the good Lord has given to her.
