Visit # 3 The Johnstons

My brother Tom and his family came up in June and spent some time with us. They came from a big camping road trip that my dad accompanied them on and ended with some restful time in Aptos. Tom, Crystal (who evades the camera), Keanna and Isaiah are some of our favorite people and we loved having them come visit!! They tried to come up fromm San Deigo for Thanksgiving last year and where stuck in traffic for some crazy amount of time and ended up turning around and eating Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant. So we where super excited that they made it here and where able to stay for few days. My brother is a Marine and is stationed down at Camp Pendelton. He has been in the artillery department for some time but while he was visiting us received exception into the special opps department. We love his family and we are excited to see what becomes of this new field that he has entered! I will say that my brother is a super Marine and has served in Iraq twice and we are all very proud of him! And if you notice in one of the above camping photos, Tom is using his machete that normally goes on on his war gun to slice the camping wood!

Keanna and Isaiah are favorites with my kids and my kiddos always have a super time with them. And Crystal (who I can't seem to get a picture of) is one of the sweetest sister-in-laws!! She brought gifts for the kids and this time had Keanna in on the project. She made each of the girls a super cute tutu and gave Cedric Isaiah's old 3 Musketeer outfit that she made for him a few years back for Halloween. Earlier this year she made the girls a bunch of super intricate hair pins for their hair (which they both loved).

We had a fabulous time with the Johnstons and can't wait for their next visit!
